Learn to cook healthy, balanced meals on a budget. All cooking skills welcome and supplies are provided. Held on various Wednesday afternoons. To join, speak to Iris, our Dietitian.

For people struggling with stimulant use (crack, cocaine, crystal meth, speed). To see if this group is for you, speak to our social workers. Held every Thursday afternoon, 2:00 to 3:00 pm in the JRC Group Room.

A space to make crafts, eat snacks, learn about health topics and have fun. Any woman or non-binary identifying JRC clients can drop-in. Led by a peer navigator and other members from our team. Held Wednesdays 2:00 to 4:00 pm (except on Ministry cheque days).

Join us for snacks, games and conversation every other Friday at noon. All JRC clients are welcome to drop in. This group is currently on hold.

The Providence Health Indigenous Wellness Team is available to support indigenous patients at JRC. They provide services such as cultural practices, traditional medicine, consultation and navigation, and access to the All Nations Sacred Space. Connect with the team at 604-682-2344 (ext. 62937).

The mental health team provides support and services through groups and individual counselling. Please speak to your doctor or with our mental health nurse for more information.

The JRC offers support for immediate nutrition needs and helps individuals identify longer term solutions to food. Speak to our dietitian for more information on this, and see our social workers for meal vouchers.

JRC offers take home naloxone kits. Naloxone is a safe medication that reverses the effects of opioid overdose. JRC staff can provide training and naloxone kits for free. See JRC reception for an appointment or to get a drop-in time to speak to a nurse.

Our free harm reduction supplies are available during clinic hours. If you do not see what you need, please speak to a nurse as we may have more supplies available.

JRC offers Hep C treatment with care coordination, education and follow-up with our Hep C nurses. Please speak to your doctor or the Hep C nurses for more information.
