Before your first visit
A social worker will do an assessment interview (by phone or in person) to determine if JRC is appropriate for your care. This includes a brief assessment and orientation to available services at this clinic and in the community.
If JRC is the right fit for you, the social worker will book you an intake appointment with a JRC nurse.
What to bring
Please bring the following to your appointment:
- Your BC Services Card
Transportation & parking
Remember to allow time (approximately 30 minutes) before your appointment to get from your car or transit to the clinic area. If you are new to the clinic and need directions when you arrive at St. Paul’s Hospital, ask a volunteer or reception for directions to our front door. Please remember the name of the clinic to get the best assistance.
