Indigenous wellness services

The Indigenous Wellness Team at Providence is available to support Indigenous patients and their families. We are here to coordinate culturally safe wellness supports and services.

Overview

The Indigenous Wellness and Reconciliation Program supports Indigenous patients and families. We do so by promoting Indigenous Cultural Safety throughout the Providence network and by offering specific services and spaces.

Our services are free and available to anyone who considers themselves Indigenous. This includes First Nations, Métis or Inuit.

Providence staff ask everyone who registers at our sites if they would like to identify as Indigenous. This is part of our effort to make it safe and easy for people to receive culturally relevant services.
