Pharmacist appointments before 8am and after 5pm take place in the Outpatient Pharmacy.

For all other appointments, please check in with the JRC reception and wait for the pharmacist to see you at JRC.

St. Paul’s Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy hours:

7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday/Thursday/Friday 
7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday

Closed on weekends and all statutory holidays.

The Outpatient Pharmacy is on the Main Floor of the Burrard Building in St. Paul’s Hospital. Go past the gift shop and then turn left. The pharmacy is in Room 163.

Unless you have been told otherwise, to receive your ARV medication:

• Complete your bloodwork routine (see below)
• Book an appointment with your doctor for a prescription refill
• Book an appointment with a pharmacist by calling JRC reception

If you are unable to request and pick up your medication before you run out, visit the pharmacy to get a 2-week emergency supply.

Drop-in availability for bloodwork at the JRC is subject to capacity. There are drop-in spaces during the phlebotomist/lab tech’s hours:

9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., 
Tuesdays

9:00 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., 
Wednesdays and Thursdays

For new standing orders, please ask your doctor. Or speak to a JRC nurse for a one-time order.
