Operated by Philips Lifeline, our Providence Lifeline service offers personal monitoring that significantly reduces the risk of living alone, allowing individuals to continue living safely and independently in their own homes. Using the latest technology, Lifeline provides seniors, the medically at-risk, or those who simply want a “sense of security”, with the comfort of knowing that professional help is always available at the press of a button 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year.
The Providence Lifeline Program started in 1989 at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital and, in 2004, moved to Holy Family Hospital. Through the years, the Providence program has provided personal emergency response services to over 20,000 subscribers, with services currently available in Vancouver and Richmond.
An unexpected fall or medical emergency can happen at any time, leaving you or your loved one without the help they need when minutes count. You can continue to live safely and independently in the comfort of your own home. With a simple press of the small waterproof “Help” button or an automated “fall detected” signal from the “AutoAlert” button, your loved one will get the help they need from professionally trained monitors dedicated to respond to Lifeline emergency calls.
The Lifeline service can be set up quickly and easily in your home.
