After you leave

Rest when you get home. You might feel tired after hemodialysis. Many people feel better once they have been on hemodialysis for a few weeks.

Remove your hemodialysis bandage four to six hours after you leave the Community Dialysis Unit. Be careful not to pull off the scab when you remove the bandage.
