Preparing for your visit

Please complete your lab requisition and patient questionnaire before the appointment. If you are missing the patient questionnaire, please get in touch with the Chest Pain Clinic. You may be asked by your referring health care practitioner to do an exercise test, a CAT scan, or a nuclear test (MIBI) before your first visit.

Getting ready

What to bring:

  • BC Services card
  • Completed patient questionnaire
  • List of medications and herbal supplements you are currently taking
  • Comfortable clothes and flat shoes

Transportation & parking

Please allow about 30 minutes before your appointment to get from your car or transit to the clinic area. If you are new to the clinic and need directions, when you arrive at St. Paul’s Hospital, ask a volunteer or reception for directions to our front door. Please remember the name of the clinic to get the best help. There is street parking in this area of Davie and Burrard and a parking garage in the building.

Lab tests

There is a lab referral form provided in the referral package. Please use this form when completing your lab work. It will make sure we receive a copy of your results before your first visit.

Cancellation policy

Need to cancel or change your appointment? Call the clinic within 48 hours of your appointment. This allows us time to schedule other patients.

If you feel unwell and your symptoms worsen, please see your practitioner or visit the Emergency Department.
