Adult Bleeding Disorders Program

After you leave

Typically, you need a yearly clinic visit to review your treatment plan, check your progress, and make any necessary changes for the best results.

We encourage you to stay in touch with your team in between visits. Tell your team about any procedures, injuries, or symptoms related to your bleeding disorder.

Home Infusion

You might need a Home Infusion Program referral before or after your procedure. If this is required, a nurse from the Home Infusion Program will come into your home to give your infusion. Or, the nurse will take you to a dental office to give you your infusion. Our office will give you a referral for the Home Infusion Program. A nurse will contact you at least 1-2 weeks before your procedure to confirm the dates and times. Please contact our office if you do not hear from a nurse a week before the procedure.
