Tanya Choy

Tanya is the Practice Consultant in Allied Health Education and the Interim Simulation Manager at Providence Health Care (PHC). A Registered Dietitian with over 15 years of experience, she has previously served as Site Lead and Professional Practice Leader for the Clinical Nutrition department, where she led initiatives in professional development, practice, recruitment, and quality improvement.

In her current role, Tanya leads the allied health education strategy, including overseeing the allied health new graduate program, and recently stepped into the interim role supporting the PHC Simulation Program. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Health Professions Education at the University of Ottawa.

Tanya’s passion lies in education as a means to uplift the clinical skills and capacity of both emerging and experienced professionals. She is committed to use her blend of clinical, operational, and leadership experience along with her passion in education to continue strengthening the PHC Simulation Program.
