Nelson Ramirez Carias

Nelson joined the PHC team in September 2024 as the Clinical Simulation Technician.

In this role, he is responsible for setting up and dismantling simulation equipment, providing comprehensive technical support, and troubleshooting as needed. He also performs routine maintenance before and after each simulation to ensure all equipment remains in optimal condition.

Nelson holds a master’s degree in business administration and has completed various healthcare and simulation-related courses, including the Simulation Technologist Operations course from NAIT and the Personal and Family Centred Care course from PHC, among others. He brings professional experience in business, supply chain, logistics, and digital transformation to his role.

In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar and watching soccer.
