Dr. Bahar Bahrani

Dr. Bahrani is a board-certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States. Dr. Bahrani is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a member of the
Canadian Dermatology Association and American Academy of Dermatology. 

She is originally from Saskatoon and completed her Bachelor’s degree and Medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She completed her dermatology residency training at the University of Toronto, where she served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Bahrani has additional interests and expertise in complex medical dermatology including autoimmune blistering diseases. She previously practiced as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She is currently affiliated with the Department of Dermatology and Skin Science at the University of British Columbia and works at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. Her philosophy in dermatology is to practice wholistic patient-centered care. She works together with patients to come up with treatment plans that are unique to them and take into consideration their preferences, values, and beliefs.
