Dr. Angelina Marinkovic is a hematologist with a focus on non-malignant hematologic conditions, including red cell disorders as well as inherited and acquired bleeding disorders. She completed her training in Internal Medicine and Hematology at the University of British Columbia (UBC), followed by a combined fellowship in red cell and coagulation disorders through the Naiman Vickars Fellowship Program, which she completed in 2025. Following this, she joined the Provincial Adult Red Cell Disorders Program and the Adult Bleeding Disorders Program of British Columbia.

Dr. Marinkovic’s academic interests include thalassemia, sickle cell disease, rare coagulation disorders, and women’s health—particularly women and girls with bleeding disorders, hemophilia carriers, and sickle cell disease in pregnancy. She is committed to improving care and advancing outcomes for patients with these conditions.

Outside of work, she balances her professional and personal life with an active routine in Vancouver that includes running, boxing, and Latin dancing.
