Clinical trials & research

Advances in treatments for urologic disorders are all thanks to medical research. While participating in research is a decision you should make for yourself together with your care team, there is much activity in this field. So please ask us about our research programs if you’re interested.

By taking part in research, you can help us all learn more about urological conditions, but your involvement is totally up to you.

Please ask your care team for more information or contact the research team listed on each study or trial. For other information about research at Providence Health Care, please visit Providence Research.

Medical & professional referrals

Health care providers (specialists and family doctors) can refer the following patients to the program:

  • Patients requiring a consultation
  • Post-operative kidney transplant recipients
  • Patients with prostate or testicular cancer
  • Patients with kidney or bladder cancer
  • Patients with urinary incontinence problems
  • Others as appropriate

Physicians: Please specify which surgeon you are referring the patient to. If the consultation is urgent, please indicate this on the referral and call the office to reach the surgeon directly.
