Transcatheter Heart Valve Clinic

Preparing for your visit

Please review the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Information for Patients and Family booklet linked below before your appointment. This booklet answers many questions our patients often have about our clinic and what happens after your referral.

Please keep this filled-out booklet and all your other TAVI information and documents in one folder. Keeping a specified TAVI folder to bring to each appointment will allow you and your health care team to track your progress better.

You may have the option of in-person or virtual visits with the nurse and doctor. Our clinic will be in contact with you about arranging the best type of appointment for you.

What to bring:

  • BC Services Card
  • All medications you currently take, including herbal supplements. You can get a printed list from your pharmacist as well.
  • Forms or questionnaires filled out and ready to review during your appointment
  • A person who knows you well, such as a spouse, good friend, or close family member. It should be someone who can help review and confirm information about you and help during the appointment

Cancellation policy

Need to cancel or change your appointment? Call the clinic within 48 hours of your appointment. This allows us time to schedule other patients.
