Surgical (Delia Tetrault) Procedure Room

You will receive both pre-operative and post-operative instructions from your surgeon's office. It is important that you follow these instructions to have the best outcome from surgery.

Before your surgery, please make sure to continue taking your regular medications as prescribed.

On the day of your visit

Your surgeon's office will send you instructions to help you prepare for your surgery. Please arrive on time for your appointment.

• Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to put on and take off.
• Avoid wearing makeup and contact lenses on the day of your procedure.
• Mount Saint Joseph Hospital is scent-free. Please do not use perfume.

On the day of your appointment, please remember to bring the following:

• Your BC Services Card
• A valid photo ID
• A list of all medications and supplements you are currently taking.
• Your cell phone for arranging transportation home after the procedure.

These guidelines help create a safe and smooth experience during your stay.
