About this clinic

The Skin Health Liaison Clinic (SkiL Clinic) serves people who have a combination of both skin and psychiatric disorders. Together, the dermatology and psychiatry departments run the clinic. Both a psychiatrist and dermatologist will assess you. 

Please note that the clinic only provides consultations.

We discharge you from the clinic to the care of your referring physician. We also offer care-related recommendations at the time of discharge.

To be seen at our clinic, you must be:

  • An adults (18+)
  • Referred by a dermatologist 
  • Aware you will be consulting a dermatologist and a psychiatrist

We cannot treat you if you:

  • Are already under the care of a psychiatrist
  • Have active substance abuse or eating disorders, or both; and/or
  • Have missed a prior appointment without a reason
