When you arrive
- When you arrive at the clinic, buzz the doorbell and a staff member will let you inside.
- There is a comfortable waiting area inside the clinic where you can speak with the nursing team. This team will begin your health assessment.
- After your assessment, you will talk with your prescriber about your medical history. The prescriber will explain the prescription you will receive.
- You are welcome to chat with the team and other clients before we call you to take your medication.
During your visit
- When the staff call your name, we will take you to the injection room. Then we will give you your medication.
- You can choose any injection booth to self-administer (give yourself) your medication. We provide all sterile supplies. This means that the supplies are clean and safe to use.
- Nurses are present at all times and can help you if you need help.
- Once you have given yourself your medication, you can leave the injection booth and go back to the waiting area. We ask you to remain in the clinic for a period of time post-dose. This is so we can watch for any potential negative reactions.
