Colposcopy

• You do not need to prepare anything ahead of time.
• If you think you might be pregnant, you can still have a colposcopy to look at your vagina, but we will not take biopsies.
• We will ask you to reschedule your visit if you have a menstrual period with heavy bleeding. Light spotting is fine.

LEEP

• You should expect to rest for 24 hours after your procedure.
• You may want over-the-counter painkiller medicines to take after the procedure.
• We cannot perform LEEPs if you are pregnant.
