Travel + Accommodation
Information to help make your travels to Vancouver as easy as possible.
There are times when it is necessary for residents of rural British Columbia to travel to Vancouver to obtain non-emergency, physician-referred medical care outside their home communities.
We understand that this can be a stressful time and there are many things to coordinate in your personal life, in order to make this trip go as smoothly and comfortably as possible. We have created a document listing accommodation within a short drive or walk of our hospitals. We have also provided some information on the Travel Assistance Program for BC residents.
