About this clinic

The Rapid Access Neurology Clinic urgently assesses patients with severe, rapid-onset neurological symptoms. We see patients from the St. Paul's Hospital Emergency Department.

Advances in treatments are all thanks to medical research. While participating in research is a decision you should make for yourself in consultation with your care team, there is much activity in this area so please ask us about our research programs if you’re interested.

Criteria for referral

We only accept referrals made by the St. Paul's Emergency Department. Patients with acute symptoms under four to eight weeks after leaving hospital are eligible.
