Preparing for your visit

What to bring

  • Your BC Services Card. (Patients from outside B.C. and Canada need to provide medical insurance information).
  • A list of all your current medications.
  • Your puffers.
  • All doctor, X-ray or laboratory reports in your possession. You could also bring a list with names and phone numbers of all the doctors involved in your treatment. This list should include all the places where you did X-ray and blood tests.
  • All X-ray and CT scans in your possession.
  • A list of questions you want to ask the doctor.
  • Name, phone number and fax number of your pharmacy.

Transportation & parking

Remember to allow time (approximately 30 minutes) before your appointment to get from your car or transit to the clinic area. If you are new to the clinic and need directions when you arrive at St. Paul’s Hospital, ask a volunteer or reception for directions to our front door. Please remember the name of the clinic to get the best assistance.
