Interior Health launches website targeting people who use drugs alone
If you or someone you know is using illicit drugs alone, Interior Health wants to know what it can do to help save your life.
According to a BC Coroners Service report released Thursday, 57 per cent of overdose deaths in 2017 occurred among people who were using illicit drugs alone.
Between March 1 and May 31, 2017, 58 per cent of overdose deaths occurred in private residences, and 27 per cent occurred at other residences, including hotels, homeless shelters, drug recovery houses and seniors’ residences.
