Dr. Christopher E. De Bono, PhD, MDiv., is currently the Vice President of Mission, Organizational Development & Ethics at Providence.
Christopher is a highly regarded Catholic Senior Leader, Ethicist and Pastoral Theologian. With over 20 years’ experience, he had held progressive and strategic health care roles in both British Columbia and Ontario. Previous roles at PHC include VP Mission, People + Ethics and Executive Sponsor for Indigenous Wellness and Reconciliation.
Christopher’s passion is to advance the integration of mission, vision, values, and ethics in Catholic health care’s planning and delivery. A change agent in Catholic identity and a firm believer in social justice as well as the Common Good, Christopher advances the legacy of the Sisters who founded Catholic Health care in Canada centuries ago.
Christopher is grateful to be able to live, work and play on the unceded territories of the local Indigenous peoples of this area, the Musqueam, the Squamish, and the Tsleil-Waututh.
