New 64 Slice CT Scanner Commences Operation

Providence Radiology is proud to announce the commencement of this new scanner on April 21, 2008. With the opening comes the start of our cardiac and virtual colonoscopy programs.

No Appointment necessary for some CT scans
Starting June 1, 2008 appointments for basic noncontrast head and spine CT scans will not be necessary. Patients meeting the criteria for walk in CT scans will be sent a letter advising them of the range of walk in times. A physician's requisition is still required.
