Almost $1 billion is spent every year in B.C. on aging smokers (Dr. Don Sin)

As many as 95,000 British Columbians are living with a chronic disease that’s costing the province more than $90-million dollars a year.

But a new program hopes to change that.

Dr. Don Sin with St. Paul’s hospital says the test-program helped patients by educating them and providing individualized plans.
