Woman faces death daily from heart condition that killed her son (Dr. Andrew Krahn)
Robin Thay didn't understand how her son, a fit, strong 35-year-old man, could die without warning.
Dr. Andrew Krahn is head of cardiology at the university, and works as a cardiologist at St Paul's hospital in Vancouver.
“What we lack a good understanding of, is why some people have a bad case, some people have a mild case,” said Dr Krahn. “And how we can go about detecting it before tragedy strikes, like what happened to Victor.”
