Sister Nancy Brown
Sister Nancy Brown joined the Providence Health Care Society in 2009.
Sister Nancy, a Sister of Charity (Halifax), ministers at Covenant House Vancouver as Ombudsperson/Pastoral Counselor and a member of the Senior Management Team since 1998, when she returned to her home city of Vancouver. She has served as a board member of Domestic Abuse Services as well as Catholic Family Services and is currently on the board of REED (Resist Exploitation, Embrace Dignity) and supports the work of Emancipation Now.
In 2012, Sister Nancy was invested into the Order of BC for her service with the homeless and exploited women and children. She has been a tireless advocate for youth especially youth who are victims of abuse, prostitution and human trafficking.
