Mireille joined the BC Adult Bleeding Disorders Program in 2017.

Mireille is both a Registered Social Worker and Family Therapist.

She completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at UBC in 1994, and completed a 3 year Family Therapy Internship with Living Systems in Vancouver in 2010, as well as Advanced Clinical Family Therapy Training at the Bowen Centre in Washington DC in 2012.

Prior to joining the Adult Bleeding Disorders Program of BC in 2017, Mireille worked since 2006 at St. Paul’s Hospital as a Family Therapist in the Provincial Adult Tertiary Eating Disorders Program, and Mental Health Counsellor and Family Therapist in the Outpatient Mental Health Program.

Mireille has an extensive background in Trauma, Mental Health, and Addiction, having worked for over 25 years in Ontario and BC with adults, youth, children, couples, families and groups in a variety of treatment settings.
