Canadian, Chinese HIV/AIDS control agencies renew partnership (Dr. Julio Montaner, BC-CfE)
Canada's British Columbia (B.C.) Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS has renewed a memorandum of understanding with China's AIDS control and prevention agency, according to the head of the center.
The paper was signed between the B.C. center and the National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Julio Montaner, director of the B.C. center, told Xinhua.
It launches a new three-year HIV Treatment as Prevention Fellowship that will bring three Chinese scientists to Vancouver to work with researchers and clinicians at the renowned center at St. Paul's Hospital here, according to him.
