HEALTH CARE SERVICES  |  Health Care Support Services   Laboratory Laboratories at PHC provide routine and specialized diagnostic services and consultation to many health providers within BC and the Yukon. In addition to acute inpatient services, a significant portion of laboratory work comes from outpatient clinics, physicians' offices, community clinics, long-term care, extended care and rehabilitation centres. Members of the public are welcome to bring requisitions for lab tests written by their physicians to laboratories at either St. Paul's or Mount Saint Joseph. Both labs are open seven days a week. The hours for outpatient services at the St. Paul's lab are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekends, closed on statutory holidays. At Mount Saint Joseph, the hours for outpatient laboratory services are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekends, closed on statutory holidays.
