Providence Health Care's Ophthalmology program is a leading innovator and service provider of eye care in BC. Surgeons at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital perform 5,000 cataract procedures per year, more than any other hospital in the province, and about 90 per cent of BC's corneal transplants.
