OVERVIEW With ongoing developments in health care, more patients are able to receive the care they require on an outpatient basis, without being admitted to hospital. As well, some patients attend clinics for follow-up care after a hospital stay. Providence Health Care's acute care hospitals and our rehabilitation facility — St. Paul's, Mount Saint Joseph and Holy Family — offer a wide range of outpatient clinics.
