Giving Back

Giving to the General Surgery Centre

Many of the procedures and treatments now available at St Paul's Hospital didn't exist a decade ago. Thanks to the intensely creative research going on at St. Paul's and around the world, the advances have been momentous.  However, many of these novel therapies require extremely sophisticated – and expensive – technologies. That means hospitals have to work very hard to raise funds to buy the equipment and support the highly specialized needs of its colorectal surgery programmes. When donors support General Surgery research at St Paul's Hospital, they are contributing to the health of all British Columbians – men and women, those from urban and rural communities, young adults and older people alike.
