Our People

Our department has 34 full and part-time members who have all have specialty training in anesthesiology and are fellows of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon of Canada.

Having attained their FRCPC specialty designation in anesthesiology most of our staff have also spent further time accomplishing sub-specialty training. We have many subspecialty areas represented in our department including: Cardio-thoracic anesthesiology, Perioperative Echocardiography, Intensive Care Unit, Regional Anesthesia, Chronic Pain and obstetric anesthesiology. We have many anesthesiologist involved in advanced research in both clinical and basic science areas.

Many of our anesthesiologist are recognized as leaders in the profession for their clinical work, research, education and administration. As a team we are a cohesive group that is able to pool our specialties to optimize the patient care experience.
