Sister Anne Hemstock SP
Sister Anne Hemstock, SP, joined the Providence Health Care Board of Directors and Providence Health Care Society in 2007.
Sister Anne is the provincial treasurer/councilor for The Sisters of Charity of Providence of Western Canada, serving in this role since 2008. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Father Lacombe Care Centre, a Calgary care centre that the Sisters of Providence own and operate.
Her background includes a BA from the University of Alberta and an MA from St. Paul’s University, Ottawa in pastoral studies specializing in health care and advanced standing with the Canadian Association of Pastoral Practice and Education. Her previous ministry includes pastoral care experience in both acute and continuing care settings. Sister Anne enjoys a good book and crossword puzzles.
