Patti Schom-Moffatt joined the Providence Health Care Board in June 2014.
Patti is the Principal and Chief Strategist for PSM Ventures Inc., where she provides reputation management, communications and public relations strategy and execution to a range of clients. Patti was the founder of Karyo Communications, a Vancouver-based PR firm that was acquired by Edelman, the world's largest PR firm, in 2007. Patti currently sits as the public representative on the HRMA Board of Directors. Patti has a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Waterloo, a Masters of Social Work from Carleton University and her ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Patti's best education, however, comes from being the mother of two children.
“Providence's belief in treating people who are marginalized and in need of care and support with dignity is what drew me to the organization. Being able to make a personal contribution to those efforts will be what sustains me.”
