Providence Health Care serves more than two million people in the Lower Mainland as well as patients across the province who require our specialized procedures. Our specialists are widely recognized for their expertise in open-heart surgery, heart transplants, kidney transplants and eye surgeries.

Each year, Providence Health Care treats more than 350,000 patients, with 80,000 emergency visits, 145,000 ambulatory care visits and 300,000 residential care days. We operate six facilities in Vancouver, B.C. Three hospitals – St. Paul’s, Mount Saint Joseph, and Holy Family – deliver acute care, residential, and rehabilitation services. Three residential facilities – St. Vincent’s Langara, Brock Fahrni Pavilion, and Youville Residence – focus exclusively on intermediate and long-term care for the elderly.
