Basic medical insurance coverage is offered to all employees after 3 months of employment. It is important to have medical insurance prior to your arrival in Canada to cover that waiting period. Basic medical covers your visits to doctors, most specialists, hospital visits, and tests.

Dental benefits cover 100% of basic services, 60% of major reconstruction, and 60% of orthodontic services.

Extended Health benefits have a $25/year deductible, after which eligible expenses are reimbursed to you at 80%. Some of the services included in extended health benefits are chiropractor, massage therapists, physiotherapists, prescription medication and vision care.
