Congratulations to Jennifer Duff, Program Director, Mental Health, for being recognized by Business in Vancouver's Forty Under 40 Awards. The awards profile BC's outstanding entrepreneurs, executives, managers and professionals in public or private business, or in non-profit sectors. Winners are chosen based on such values as achievement, experience and innovation, vision, leadership, and community involvement.

“Jennifer is a current and future leader in our organization,” says Providence Health Care President and CEO Dianne Doyle. “At 33, not only is she one of the youngest leaders in our organization, she is notably ahead of her time for her age in regards to the scope and responsibility of this senior role.”

Prior to her appointment as Program Director for Mental Health, Jennifer served as Operations Leader for Maternity Services and successfully led a Lean redesign of the program, resulting in improved efficiency and increased the time spent at the bedside. For the exceptional leadership she demonstrated during her role in Maternity Services, Jennifer was awarded with the Faye Meuser Memorial Leadership Award at Providence Health Care's 2011 Annual Community Meeting, as well receiving the Foundress Mission Team Award along with the entire Maternity team that same year.

Jennifer will be profiled in the December 13, 2011 edition of Business in Vancouver and will receive her award at a gala dinner on January 25, 2012, at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver.

This is just another well-deserved accolade in Jennifer's already long-list of accomplishments; she was the recipient of the Canadian College of Health Leader's 2011 Emerging Health Leader Scholarship earlier this year and was invited to participate on the Sweden Study Tour, which was held from May 1 to 6, 2011.
