About Us

The Department of Medicine provides research, teaching and clinical services related to the nature, cause and prevention of adult diseases at three sites: St. Paul's Hospital, Mount St. Joseph Hospital, and Holy Family Hospital.  We are the largest clinical Department at Providence Health Care and we consist of two hundred and twenty one provisional and active members in sixteen academic divisions: AIDS, Allergy and Immunology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Hematology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Respiratory Medicine, and Rheumatology.
